Energetically, this week is heavy. The foundations are love, ego death, and the self. Who are we? Who do we love? If today was our last day on earth, how would we spend it? Who would we spend it with?
Generally we go through life feeling like the stakes aren’t that high. We caught up in mundane cycles of work and sleep, ig and facebook, memes and outrage -- and we forget that we’re actually on a mystical, magical journey, with other star seeds in skin suits just like us, lovingly fulfilling spiritual contracts with each other even if the contract was for one of us to be the bad guy. Have we thanked our bad guys? Like it or not, if they did the job, they did right by us. We can't be so busy holding grudges that we forget to count it all joy. We must receive the blessings our curses brought us, because curses always come bearing gifts. It is karmic law. Have we remembered to open our gifts? Have we remembered to say thank you? And most importantly, have we understood yet that all those relationships we’ve created “out there,” we’ve actually made inside our bodies? Do we understand yet that our relationships are just divine reflections of how we feel about ourselves? If we feel like someone abandoned us, then the real question is, when did we abandon ourselves? If we feel like someone cut us down with their words, or we lost control of our mouths and cut someone else down-- the real question is, how do we talk to ourselves? Maybe we’ve grown impatient with certain people or situations in our life that seem to have grown too long, taken over, and now seem to control our circumstances. Good or bad, we’re so ready to move on, to push forward, to force an ending because we’re ready for what comes next. We’re wanting to pull the trigger on the apocalypse because we want heaven NOW! But death & transformation have their own cycles and rhythms. Death has its own life. It takes its own time. We can’t rush change before its time, and we can’t stop it once it IS time. Are we already so intently looking beyond the unknown that we’re missing the divine karmic unfolding that is happening in front of our eyes? This week, instead of willing events to pass, we need to let fate turn its own wheels. God got this. Life got this. We don’t have to put our hands on it. We can simply stand aside and witness. We can just be here, now. Because the time will come when we won’t be here. The day will come when things won’t be as they are right now, when we won’t have the choices we have right now, when all the juicy potential of where to go next won’t be so juicy. We needn’t rush. We can let our cauldrons bubble. We can let this meaty chunk of time fully marinate and get all its flavor. After everything that’s gone down, we are understandably wary of putting any more energy or sacrifice into certain situations, but we have to know that every relationship we work on is really just working on the relationships with ourselves. Let us not miss our chance to be magical. Let us not miss our chance to dig in. We are completely capable of transmuting this energy and rising through it. Love and patience are the only way. This week, we need to tell somebody thank you. We need to tell somebody we love them. We’re trying to shift the landscape, but the landscape is trying to shift US. Soon as we find our inner equilibrium, the world will right itself, boom, straight like that. [o]
