This week is about the space between lovers. It doesn't have to be romantic love either. The earth loves you. Do you love her back? Your lungs love you. Do you love them back?
Notice how little mind you paid to the examples above. Who thinks about the earth? Who thinks about their lungs? Sky and breath are guaranteed, right…? The mechanisms that support our lives are silent and assured. We ignore them when they are present and mourn them when they are gone. Like my daddy said, you don't miss your water till the well runs dry.
This week, we need to be grateful for our water, for our earth, for our lungs, for our people; for every invisible lover who goes unnoticed, but serves it's beloved anyway.
And if we should look up and for some reason our beloved isn't there, let us not assume the love is gone. Let us not assume the worst.
Let us have faith that more will be revealed and in the meantime in-between time, trust that all is well, and we are loved.
